Senior Spotlight; Miss. Lexi | North English Iowa Photography
This week's senior spotlight is completely focused on Miss. Lexi!
Lexi has got to be one of the sweetest, quiet girls I know! And today, you get to know a little bit more about her, too!
When I asked Lexi what her accomplishments were during her senior year and what she was most proud of, she said, "So far my biggest accomplishment of senior year is getting a 4.0 for first semester and getting accepted into my first choice of college, UNI." Which is AWESOME! 4.0?! YOU GO GIRL! I also asked her what she was excited about in the last little bit of her year and she said she was just really excited to get through this year and start her future! She did keep busy this year as she held her spot in National Honor Society and she was manager for three different sports!
This summer, she plans to hang out with her friends as much as possible but she will be working, too!
I asked Lexi what her future held, and she said, "I plan to attend the University of Northern Iowa next fall and pursue an early childhood development degree, most likely to be a preschool or kindergarten teacher." Let me tell you guys, I think she is REALLY excited to get into UNI this fall!
Lexi will be graduating this May from English Valleys School District.
Let's go ahead and enjoy some of her senior session portraits:
Lexi KNEW that she wanted to use this building right from the start. And it didn't bother me at all; I love this spot!
Doesn't her smile just make you smile?!
We snuck in a few family portraits during her session, too!
I LOVE the pattern in her dress! How fun!
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate this adorable little outfit and those SHOES? Red velvet, yes please!
From the building, we went to a ditch not too far from my house. I had spotted it on my way into town and knew we had to go visit there. I may or may not have taken a little tumble here. But it was so worth it and we all got a giggle out of it, because FLOWERS!
How killer is this set? Gosh I love gravel roads. And jackets. And pumps. And Lexi. :D
And then, of course, we had to find water!
This one is one of my favorites from Lexi's session!
We ended the evening with a few sets around Lexi's home!
Lexi said her favorites from her session were the ones sitting in the purple flowers, any if the pictures with the white chair in the field, and on the ground in the blue shirt and white jeans!
Thank you so much Lexi for choosing Marie Grace Photography to capture your senior year portraits for you! It was a pleasure to work with you and your family. I wish you all of the very bast as you navigate through these last few weeks of high school, this summer and as you head off to UNI!
