Senior Spotlight; Miss. Carrington | Montezuma Iowa Senior Photography
It's that time of year again; Senior Spotlight Season! If you follow me on Instaclam, then you may see more sneaks here and there from my seniors. If you don't, go follow me. Now. I decided to start with Miss. Carrington as she has actually already graduated high school and has started into college! How amazing is that?! Carrington has graduated from Montezuma High School in Montezuma, Iowa. She is now attending DMACC in Ankeny, Iowa! Carrington may not have been involved in many extra curricular activities, but she is very proud of obtaining the A Honor Roll all four years of high school. She was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, a college national honor society, her senior year of high school, as well! When asked what she is looking forward to throughout the rest of the year, she said, "Being a full-time college student without technically receiving my high school diploma. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and getting done with college quicker than I thought." As far as the summer goes, she is planning on working, taking online classes on going on a vacation!
As for her senior session, Carrington, her mom, myself and my assistant did a little traveling through Keokuk and Mashaska County to find little treasure spots for portraits. We started in a little spot that I LOVE and have use before, and of course Carrington killed it! Follow along to see our favorites from Carrington's session!

We were walking around the Oskaloosa square and saw their adorable floral sets on the corners. We couldn't help but use the floral backgrounds!
When asked what her favorite portraits were from her session, she said, "In a small town alley, sitting down in the weeds, in the purple shirt was my favorite set. Also, the quickly decided pictures we took in Oskaloosa with the flower in my hair."
I had an absolute blast working with Carrington and her mom! She was a joy to photograph! I love how here personality and style shine through these portraits! Thank you so very much, Carrington & Brenda, for letting MGP be a part of your senior year! I wish you nothing but the best as you already are into your college career! I can imagine with as much ambition as you have, you will do nothing but the absolute best.
