Meet the Stutzmans; A Sigourney, Iowa Wedding
This last September, I had the honor and privilege to work with Dillon and Brittany on the first day of the rest of their lives! Of course, as it has gone, and as you have heard me (complain) mention before, there was a chance of rain. But the Good Lord smiled down on the couple and gave them a beautiful, mostly sunny day to get married! And I couldn't complain too much about that! It was a tad bit (and by that, I mean really) muddy, but Dillon and Brittany were troopers and we were able to get some amazing photographs!
We started the day at Dillon's brother's home while the pair were getting ready! I LOVED the layout of the home and there were a lot of great spots for detail portraits!
Brittany had an incredibly beautiful dress. I absolutely adored the color and the details. Everything about it was perfect!
I loved her veil too! It had the perfect amount of beading and details to compliment her dress.
Brittany won for favorite shoes of the year. These were AMAZING!
I loved her pearls for her jewelry, too!
And of course you know I have to take all the ring shots! :)
At this point, we went back into the house to work with the groom!
He was pretty enthused about these portraits! :D
Then it was time to find the bride and capture the final moments of her getting ready!
And the dress is on!
So then it was time for the first look! Due to the muddy conditions, we had to change things up just a little, but it all worked out perfectly!
You've got to love that brotherly bond!
First looks are my favorite!
From there, we dove right into bride & groom portraits!
I hope they always find a reason to laugh like this with each other!
It was time for a new location, so we moved to the Expo in Sigourney (where the ceremony and reception was held)!
Both the bride and groom had a great group of friends and family standing with them!
After a few family photos, it was time for the big moment!
I LOVED their backdrop!
After a quick bite to eat, we snuck outside for a few golden hour portraits!
It was time for the first dance back in the reception!
After that was finished up, the couple danced the evening away with their friends and family surrounding them!
Thank you, Dillon and Brittany, for choosing Marie Grace Photography to be there to capture your special day!
